Brent Wilkes is accused of illegally setting up his own lobbying firm to convince members of Congress to earmark money via appropriations bills.

    Brent Wilkes has now been penalized by the California Fair Political Practises Commission for laundering contributions through his employees.  There is a strong possibility that some of the contributions he raised for President Bush while serving as a Pioneer were also inappropriate if not illegal.  For more information, see http://poplarinstitute.org/joomla/content/view/53/2/
