    Hi Lakshmi,
    I am at your side on Pankaj’s book. I was more moved by India Unbound and Argumentative Indian than Mishra’s claims.
    More interestingly the stories are not much different in Nepal too. And there are abundant people out here who think in line of Mishra. The rebels, Maoist of Nepal, for that matter is same. The reason I believe is driven by more sociological thought pattern than economic viewpoint. And the former is going to lead us nowhere.
    Actually you can make many stories out from crisis in Nepal which could be interesting to the rest of the world to see that people believe in such theories at this time of human civilization.
