In November 2005 Hillary Rodham Clinton sent out a fundraising letter to her constituents. "Part of my job is being a good listener," she wrote, going on to describe all the good listening she does as the junior senator from New York. She concluded, "Now I'd [RETURN TO ARTICLE]

On yer codepink. She really is a disgusting piece of work. Oh, and if she is by any chance nominated as the Dems candidate for POTUS she will stuff every Congressional Democratic candidacy in the mdiwest and southern states. A typical, elite wanker posing as a ‘friend of the people’. She and her husband are odious. Yuk!
It is so easy to just fall unthinking into “us vs. them” mode as evidenced by those who would support Hillary merely because she is a woman or Democrat. I have said about the evangelical right that “They would vote for the Devil if he looked good in a suit and said he opposed abortion.” It is clear that that axiom works both ways. We must, as concerned Americans, KNOW who the candidates are and what their stand is on all issues. Sadly, I always must choose the lesser evil when voting. I held my nose to vote for Bill Clinton and again when I voted for Gore and Kerry. But I saw through the Bushite campaigns early on. And sadly, my forecasts for his terms has been on target with additional catastrophes I couldn’t imagine (Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo).
As for Hillary, I have been “dogging” her for years as “not my kind of candidate.” She may be the enemy of my enemies (and that is debateable), but she is definitely not my friend!
Hooray for Code Pink!! Hillary is a snake and she needs to be reminded of it. She is the very definition of “politician”. She wants to be president; I think she will be president because she knows how to play the game and is in it for herself. Besides, whoever heard of an honest politican? or leader for that matter. One day it would be nice to see a candidate who is truly for the welfare of this country and all of its citizen.

Sen. Clinton may want to be president, but she won’t be. In fact, I think that HC getting the Democratic nom would serve no one more than the Republicans, because she will split the Dems, even encouraging some who might have voted Dem to vote Rep or to abstain.
