George W. Bush v. The U.S. Constitution

From misleading the nation on its reasons for war to fighing an unending war on terror, the Bush administration threatens our Constitution and our freedom.

By Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.)

In July 2005, 122 members of Congress, along with more than 500,000 Americans, sent a letter to President George W. Bush, asking him to verify whether the assertions set forth in the so-called “Downing Street Minutes” were accurate. The president never responded. That lack of response prompted Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.), Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee, to commissionreturn to article

To whereas Bush only has a little over a year left in office, and it may seem pointless to act now, it’s not. IMPEACH BUSH!!! Only we can do it, only the citizens of the United States of America have the power to legally rally together to over through our leader.
Yes, it is late in the game, I agree. However it is about principle. If we let Bush walk out of office after two terms, with his Dumbo grin, we have lost. He needs to be thrown out of office. If he is thrown out, even if it is to late to change him, we will have spoken and stood together; united as our forefathers intended. We will have put our foot down, and that my friends will be heard acrossed the world, and long into the future.
Maybe then we will earn back some of the respect and dignity that Bush has robbed us of.

Let’s do the time warp again....

Remember when Reagan was stupid and then senile, and people pretended they believed he was “sane” and “smart”? You guys were kidding, right? You didn’t really believe in ‘Supply side Economics’ or ‘Trickle Down Theory” or in a crazy space shield that would ward off nuclear war heads?

Remember when Vietnam was futile, and politicians were scrambling like rats on a sinking ship to distance themselves from Nixon’s “nervous breakdown? Remember?

Remember when there was a Korean war, and we pretended it wasn’t happening until ‘MASH” made it funny and rational? In the way that we rationalize our irrational lives now?

    Remember “ Smart Bombs”?
Remember when ex Nazi collaborators and CIA heads started running for president?

Remember when there used to be an idea about the importance of a separation between Church and State?

Remember when torture was considered heinous behaviour? Remember when it was thought unworthy of a civilized people?

America is one scary fucking place these days, and it’s because you all seem to have this strange amnesia....everyone else on the planet remembers, but you all don’t.seem to.

Is it something in the “Happy Meals”? Or is it the glare from the lights of “Disney World”?

    Yikes!

Hey....minerva_jones....yeah....Redhorse remembers most of that bullshit...Contrary to patriotic opinion...this nation has always been… “the greatest prevailer of violence the world has ever known..”

Remember who made that statement....? The Rev. Martin Luther King....and we know what happened next........

Rep. Conyers is right on point.....

Whats interesting , is that Conyers has been a lone wolf in the forest...calling for the impeachment of this “ crime boss “ President for quite somewhile now....with extremely scant press coverage.....

The world has gone down the tubes and America is leading the way. Bush and Co, know how to play ball in these times. The rest is redundant....

Let the celestial powers that be help us and get it done with rather sooner then later
