Excellent Piece, Hans. There has been too little coverage of the Dick DeVos, Jr. connection to the boycott on Ford Motor Company.
Despite the loss of Congressman Schwarz in Michigan, I don’t think we have seen the last of him. The American Taliban is completely transparent and with the Terry Schiavo issue and the emerging Stem Cell debate appearing front and center, I smell a shifting wind for progressives.

As always, Johnson’s research and analysis are outstanding. Having worked against Gary Glenn way out West, I know from personal experience of Glenn’s breathtaking extremism and inhumane opinions. But I also know he’s so politically clever that his tactics should never be dismissed. He’s someone who should be closely followed by anyone who cares about fairness, moderation and transparency. Thanks for doing so, Mr. Johnson.
