An Israeli Refuseniks Good Fight

By Robert Hirschfield

In September 2003, in the midst of Israel’s campaign of targeted assassinations against Palestinian terrorists, a 31-year-old Black Hawk helicopter pilot named Yonatan Shapira terrorized Israel’s military high command without committing a single act of violence. In the Pilots’ Letter of Refusal that he authored and 26 other pilots signed, these historic words were written: “We, who were raised to… return to article

All aid to Israel must stop and AIPAC, ADL, AJC, etc., forced to register as the agents of the state of Israel that they are. As of ten years ago it already totalled just under 135 Billion, probably a quarter trll now.

What does that have to do with the Israeli refusniks?

“First of all, the military aid to Israel has to stop. This coming year [2007??] it will amount to $2.4 billion. Products from the settlements, and official representatives of the Israeli government should be boycotted. AIPAC [American Israel Public Affairs Committee], which works against the interests of my country, should be replaced by more moderate Jewish organizations.”

Q: How many Israelis does it take to change a light bulb?

A: Just one.  Twenty thousand IDF soldiers to defend two hundred thousand Israeli settlers to build two hundred settlements containing eleven hundred light bulbs per settlement.

It is NOT “2.4billion,” “Major” the combined economic and miltary US aid to Israel is over 5 billion annually and this doesn’t include extra appropriations which happen all the time. Check out The Washington Report For The Middle East website, hell, check out AIPAC, they brag about it.

Mike - Major was simply quoting from the text of the article to answer Cabbie’s question “What does that have to do with the Israeli refusniks?”

Major - that’s a lot of light bulbs!

No, he was giving wrong figures. Which is why I responded.

BM, Your the only one who ever presents wrong figures. The sooner youi’re ejected from ITT the better.

United States Posted by cabdriverinchicago on Apr 10, 2007 at 1:41 AM

Official US Government figures. All the figures I have presented on any subject have been correct, your comeback on another thread that the official stats are “auntey-seamite” was typically weak.  The sooner you are ejected from the planet the better.

United States Posted by blondemike on Apr 10, 2007 at 9:34 AM

US government figures don’t claim more than $105 billion as of currently and possibly less. Mike stop taking your crap out on the Jews. I’t wrong. We’ve never harmed you.

United States Posted by cabdriverinchicago on Apr 10, 2007 at 3:31 PM

Not TRUE. I just gave the US Government figures. As of TEN years ago it was just under 135 billion. It is much more now. And how would you know what has or hasn’t harmed me ???????????????
Israel-dictated Gulf WARS have harmed all Americans as has the Communist invented “holocaust” lie.

    Right. Glad we agree here.

Can anyone please tell me how mujch theUnited St’ates gives to Egypt, the second biggest recipient of Am
    erican foreign aid?

Does anyone have any figures on how much money is sent in to Hamas that goes for bombs, guns, munitions etc?

If all help from the U.S. stopped tomorrow, would that bring peace to the region?

How much money does Iran give to Hezbollah, a group that fires shells into Israel out of Lebanon....

This guy quits the military--and I respect his choice--becvause civilians are hit. When do the terrorists not hide among civilian populations?

How many Americans deserted or quit in Iraq? far more than Israelis in the total of wars since the ste began, I suspect.

could the auhotr post more stories ab out Muslim and Arab dissidents who do not approve of sucide bombings and terror tactics?

United States Posted by postroad on Apr 18, 2007 at 10:47 AM

Since the US and Israel are the two biggest terror states in the region and the world, the others are strictly reacting to them. One thing makes no sense and that is to keep the blinders on and let AIPAC dictate our policy as they have for generations. As Chomsky noted the 2 bil to Egypt gets monitored down to the very penny while the 5 bil to israel is a blank check. Israel is occupying Arab lands and people, NOT vice-versa. If more Americans have deserted than Israelis, that shows little conscience exists in Israel, a very racist, extremist, fascist society. We send zero to Hamas and Hezbollah.
