Fabius, and particularly DSK and Royal, are all too far to the Right for me; and I am NOT “far-left” at all. We all live in mixed economies.

I particularly appreciated his view on immigration, which was to understand that Life in much of Africa is such hell that people will die to get somewhere better, ( as many hundreds do every year ) and the real solution is to pull fingers out and help that Continent.
First step is to roll back the ‘Free trade’ and ‘market-opening’ and ‘privatising’ Juggernaut of the WTO . Europe was rebuilt after 1945 with the Marshall Plan, and behind tariff barriers.
Protectionism is a dirty word !
