From what else I have read on the subject, the term “Nanotech” is becoming confused with “Clean Tech” and “Green Tech”, as some of the nanotechnologies are used for Clean Tech (eg. solar panels) or Green Tech (biotech).  So you should be skeptical when someone just blithley mentions that some new fangled thing is “Green Tech” or “Clean Tech” without also mentioning if it is Nanotech.
