I recall help organizing a Stewart Udall “Eco-Rap” that was held at Creighton University/Omaha in 1970.
I had the good fortune to meet again with a Udall family member at a birthday party for the (now, late) poet William Meredith in Washington, DC, circa 1995.
It’s good to learn that the Udall “gene pool” has continued on—after all, remember when 1970 was the “Year of the Environment” way back then…
We could use more straight-talking, self-deprecating public servants with common sense attitudes. Makes me proud to be a Udall family member (one of the MANY) and confident that each of us can - and should - make a difference.
