I am not sure how hybrid plug-ins are going to help the police fleet. I would think that different shifts use them same vehicles, not leaving a lot of time for the plug-in. In addition, won’t the high energy use of the computer system negate limit the savings for this part of the fleet.
I do think it will be a great solution for more traditional parts of fleets, those that use a vehicle for one normal length shift with much time out of the car, not cruising the streets.
