Thank you Cynthia; Greg Palast is one of the few truth speakers with the courage and tenacity to continue doing his fine work. I highly recommend his book “The Best Democracy Money Can Buy” to anyone wanting to know the deep truth about American politics today.

I went to USCCR site - no mention of 2.9 million uncounted votes. Not at their Election 2000 section, nor their press release section.
Coincidently, Ralph Nader garnered 2.9 million votes in 2000.
Please provide a source for this claim.

I am sickened by this interview, because it is clear to me Palast is completely blinded by his ideology. “Facts” will only be reported by him if they agree with his political postion. What hypocrisy! I get a glimpse of his objectivity when he calls the President of the US “The Grinning Chimp”. All I can say is thank goodness this man will forever be confined to the fringes where he belongs.

Excellent interview. Most everything Palast does is important - muckraking at its very best. I will buy his book tomorrow, after having been too lazy to hunt it down for far too long.

Blinded by his idealogy? You mean the truth?
If, in fact, Palast is publishing lies or making false accusations he wouldn’t have a leg to stand on. The libel laws would eat him alive. Slander would also ruin him. However, when something is true, neither can be levied. Opinion is one thing, but this is investigative journalism.
So who’s blind, Jon? Is it just a coindidene that Katherine Harris is now a congresswoman? When you suck on the Bush teat, you get rewarded, no matter who you kill in the process. But that’s my opinion. Forget about the mountains and mountains of facts to prove the Florida election was rigged. But, the money the Bush team has to make it sound like some left-wing conspiracy is hard to stand up against.
