The main line of attack from corporations and business trade associations zeroes in on EFCA's "card check" provision, [RETURN TO ARTICLE]

It will be interesting to see if Congress will cave into corporate bribes, campaign contributions to defeat or weaken the proposed Employee Free Choice Act.
Given Wal-Mart’s total disregard for humanity and the law, I see no reason to shop there. Whatever discount one gets in purchasing merchandise from Wal-Mart, one must pay in human misery! Not much of a discount, is it?
I doubt it could be coordinated, just too many variables. But could you imagine if there was a large union drive in hundreds of Wal-Marts all at the same time? I doubt they have the capacity to put out that many fires at the same time.
And if it lead to some executive nervous breakdowns, sounds like karma.
Wal Mart fears unions because of the conditions, pay, and benefits that they offer. Wal Mart has clearly grown so quickly because it has paid less towards its workforce then competing stores. And most of the products that sit on Wal Mart store shelves is made in China. One could argue that Wal Mart, through its competitive pricing structure tactics, has pushed more companies to move offshore.
I think that if enough employees want to be unionized then that is their choice, I for one will never be unionized for I do my own negotiations with my employer, the unions are destroying the free markets. I use my own brain and make my own choices not having to join a gang to negotiate for better conditions. Knowledge is much more powerful than ignorance.
Yup,
If you had a brain then you would understand that one person “negotiating” with their employer is NOT negotiating. The boss has ALL of the power, the leverage, etc. You alone have NOTHING to bargain with! One person alone cannot ever have the strength of several thousand, several hundred or even 50 workers demanding decent working conditions, pay, healthcare coverage, etc.
Unions are NOT gangs. The so-called “free market system” is destroying itself! This is evident with the current economic crisis that capitalist greed has caused, not worker’s wages!
As to knowledge, consider yourself more knowledgeable now that I have responded to your foolishness!
You gave nice ideas here. I done a research on the issue and learnt most peoples will agree with your blog.
