  From its inception the U.S. government has always been a racist oligarchy, never a true democracy.  Today in 2009 the USA continues to impose ethnocide and forced assimilation on slave descendants in blatant violation of U.N. Covenants.  The fact that President Obama, who is not a slave decendant, opposes Reparations for Afrodescendants, is extremely ironic.  Although the Caucasian American ruling class promoted and installed Obama in order to deceive most of the world into thinking that it has changed its evil ways, the plain truth is that he has always been first and foremost the servant of the ruling class.  While inner cities throughout the USA are imploding and public schools becoming increasingly dysfunctional and violent, the Obama Administration is burning about $20 million each hour on just wars in Iraq and Afghanistan while mapping contingency plans for new imperial conflicts in Latin America.  That’s not humane change we can believe in.  That’s imperialism expanding behind a smiling Black mask.

  Reparations with what money?  The US should just print a couple more billion out of thin air or what?

  By the way, Malik, your doesn’t work.  Just curious, hypothetically, how much reparations money would be enough for you to finally stop bitching about slavery?  Honestly, put a dollar amount on it.  I am dying to know.

  Why would Obama do anything for Black people? Obama won 95% of the Black vote by promising Black voters nothing at all during the campaign. You must admit he is delivering on that promise.

  Democrats Mondale (1984) Dukakis (1988) and Gore (2000) all won 90% of the Black vote. Kerry (2004) won 88%. Bill Clinton won 83% (1992) and 84% (1996) but those elections were three man races with the inclusion of Ross Perot so all totals were reduced.

  I think it is a safe bet that Obama will win about 95% of the Black vote in the next election by promising and doing the very same nothing. In any case Blacks are a bit less than 13% of the population while whites make up 80%. Obama won the election overwhelmingly with 52.9% vs. 45.7% of the popular vote and 365 vs. 173 electoral college votes.

  With whites making up 80% of the population and more than 80% of the electorate it’s clear that it is the white vote that was and remains the largest and most significant vote by far. It was the white vote that elected Obama.

  As for that 13% or less of the electorate that is the Black vote, that hardly matters because Obama automatically gets about 90% of that just for being a Democrat and apparently gets a bonus 5% for being mixed race which he didn’t need anyway because that only added a few tenths of a percent to his total vote. He’s not going to do better than 95% no matter what he does and he automatically starts at about 95% for promising and doing nothing at all for Black voters.
