Adolescents are particularly prone to homophobia, since the straight ones are still in the process of establishing their masculine or feminine identities and are threatened by a gay person’s sexual orientation. If we can continue to educate and propagate THE TRUTH that sexual orientation is inborn and equal like eye color or skin color, then progress can be made.
