    Glad he is in the race.  The progressive voice deserves to be heard.  Sharpton has been great!

    Rev. Sharpton has been an intelligent,forceful addition to the Democrat field. His observations have been mostly “right on” ,especially as he appeared on HARDBALL where he responded with vigor, humor and smart comments.
    Hopefully, the field of candidates will bi winnowed down after South Carolina. Rev. Al can leave the race at that time knowing he has advanced his agenda without inflicting vicious insults at Howard Dean- (unlikesome of the other whineys).

    I’m not an African American but I agree with Rev. Sharpton that supporting any candidate who supports the death penalty is a terrible mistake; not just for African Americans who suffer the most from this barbaric practice but for all Americans who care about the future of ALL our people.  The continuation of the death penalty in this country brands us as uncivilized.
