I think we should set up a network of those who hate these gossip mongers: Everytime they start a rumor we should email them “confessing” to the “crime”. Obviously if thousands of women had “confessed” to the gossip about Sen. Kerry it would have been very clear that Drudge’s statement was stupid. They are so pathetic that it would be easy to show them up for the liars they are.

I sometimes check up on the news on Drudge Report. It can be entertaining. Obviously, Matt Drudge is a conservative, just look at most of the links on his website. However, he will run stories on dems and republicans that are both positive and negative, however, far from being objective. It’s just an entertaining Blog to me. I consider myself to be a liberal person, I still read the “sludge report.”

There’s no doubt that Drudge deliberately fabricated this smear. Notice that it was immediately picked up by the spin-meister Limbaugh before the ink was even dry.
On another note, is it or is it not true that Matt Druge is a closeted homosexual? There are several indications to suspect that Drudge is as gay as they come, but has been extremly guarded in preveinting his sexual preference from becoming public.
