The End of Third World Solidarity?

By Salim Muwakkil

The Bush administration has been a disaster for America’s global image. Its cavalier dismissal of international treaties and diplomacy has tainted the entire nation as a bunch of unilateralists and hegemons. “see them as victims”...that is too perfect.

Why do liberal African Americans have this obsessive hatred and need to attack successful conservative African Americans? Rice, Powell, Paige, Justice Thomas, etc. etc. (or authors Sowell, W. Walters, etc.)?

So let’s see, brilliant African Americans have risen to the two top foreign policy posts, an appointment to the Supreme Court, a cabinet secretary, etc. etc. Imagine how hard it must be for them, after attaining success like that, to then be attacked for being “used” by whites for wandering off the liberal plantation?

Oh, and what have Democratic African Americans been allowed into in the Judiciary or Executive branches? Thurgood Marshall (brilliant judge-long time ago), please name others that even possibly compare. Dems use African Americans for political gain and won’t allow power or post.

They have “tarnished” the image of “all black Americans”?! Yeah, rising to be a Stanford University Provost is such an affront to African Americans! (http://www.whitehouse.gov/nsc/ricebio.html - if you want to see her unbelievable resume)

“Khomeini’s affirmative action”? I, I fear even commenting on this. It’s just too ripe, seems like a setup.

And speaking of tarnishing “black Americans”. Do you think Farahkhan, gang leaders, high-school drop out rates, Jesse (I pay hush money for love children) Jackson, illegitimacy rates, robbery stats, drug dealing stats, Dorothy Tillman, etc. etc. etc. are just maybe, possibly for a minute, a bit more tarnishing? Just possibly?
