Silly piece. Labor was effective when it employed direct action against the capitalists, posed a principled and inspirational solidarity movement against the dog eat dog values of the obscenely rich. Today’s unions are in bed with the enemy and are about as inspirational as Bill Gates and Henry Ford. We need a movement directed by ordinary workers that is based not in communism or capitalism but equality, democracy and the natural solidarity of most working people.
No chance to effect union citizen consciousness with the mass media in the hands of 6 CEOs melting the minds of children and adults into self-endugence and political ignorance
