The great political crisis in our country is the extent to which millions of Americans vote against their own economic interests. We can understand why CEOs and millionaires will vote for Bush and contribute to his campaign. But why would someone who makes $8 an hour, [RETURN TO ARTICLE]

The context of this article is exactly what one would expect from a self-proclaimed SOCIALIST like Bernie Sanders. Kerry, the 600-million-dollar man, looking out for me? Give me a break! Tax cuts exclusively for the rich? Mr. Sanders, I got a tax cut under President Bush, and I make less than $20,000 per year! Socialists like Mr. Sanders seem to feel that anyone who makes their own living and chooses not to rely on the government welfare state to pull them through is RICH!! Another problem I have with this article is the statement that President Bush sends our jobs overseas. What REALLY kills American jobs? Excessive taxation, overregulation and unions demanding $20.00 per hour for everyone, that’s what! Thanks, Dems! Also, please spare me with the “divider” bit. The Democrats have always been the party of “divide and conquer” class warfare. As a key component of their cultural and organizational hegemony schemes, it is one of their most effective vote-getters. Why socialize healthcare and disallow privatization of Social Security? It has been proven, time and again, that Marxism does not work (Remember the USSR?). Aside from that, such principles have no place in a free, constitutional republic such as ours. In closing, I will say that while I may not agree with President Bush completely 100% of the time, at least he makes his positions CLEAR and stands by them, popular or not. Oh, speaking of clear explanations for ANY position….Mr. Kerry, we’re waiting…still waiting….didn’t think so, Flipper! Bush wins, America wins, and WE WILL!! Sorry, Mr. Sanders. Try France if you want a majority to buy your socialistic Kerry sales pitch!
