I know we need some humor, considering how dark the times are getting. But, surely, there are better things to do with an internet link than demonstrate what we already know…the US is becoming less and less desirable all the time. Might I suggest a link that provides copy on what the rightwing is up to. I’m positive that there is plenty of material available.

Clearly there is lots of material to cover. But laughter and reflection on absurdity are needed in any age and time. What’d my mother always say: “better we be laughing, or we’d be crying”. Laughter, joy tend to spur me on in my political and justice related passions.

Mr. Isaac’s pop-cultural critique is not only on point, but hilarious. The initial comments here completely miss this author

Proof positive that Bush’s so called “Tax Cut” is working for America. While manufacturing employment is shrinking at an alarming rate, we can all take solace on the fact that there are indeed many jobs still available. Now that I am laid off, do to cut backs beyond my control, I know the site to go to, to find work. So what if it pays a mere fraction of what I used to be payed, including the loss of health care benefits. It makes me feel silly being an anti-Bush guy now. Praise be to Dubya, and his hard work at keeping the American people gainfully employed at dead end jobs. I am going to give the owner of the company I used to work for my tax cut, its only a hundred bucks, but maybe he can use it to find a way to keep his business thriving in the profits he has enjoyed over the past twelve years while I worked there. Sincerely, unemployed and still laughing.
