Ms. Douglas - While I appreciate the content of your message let me humbly suggest some improvements - -Commas are passive. You should construct in active. I don't think I've read an article that has this much passive construction in years. -Run-on sentences are not exactly the hallmark of pros. "His bike ride with members of the press on his beloved ranch in Crawford, in which he said he had thought about Cindy Sheehan’s request to see him but that now “it’s also important for me to go on with my life,” has moved alongside Tom Cruise’s sofa-jumping as one of …

I'm sorry if I seem overtly critical. I am finding myself to be increasingly conservative (in the mold of Dennis Miller) but I will always read left-wing publications like yours to help me define my views (only an idiot doesn't expose himself to all sides of every issue- besides, my girlfriend makes me). But in the last month you have published- -A bizarre caricature of a big-titted Hawaiian (well, don't get me wrong, she was hot) -Stated that Iranians were Arab -Stated that weapons proliferation in the Middle East was a good idea -Stated that Wi-Fi access was a racist issue …

Perhaps ITT should publish IP addresses to cut down on fraud? If I'm going to post I don't put up a one sentence diatribe (like the 3rd poster who used my name). Liberal - Yes, my "opinion" was that advocating spreading nuclear weapons around the middle east is idiotic, sophomoric, retarded, and anti-semitic. ITT can advocate whatever they want. I just happen to want to espouse peace and disarmament when I can. And by the way dude, "Iran isn't seeking a nuclear weapon"? Do you know how to read papers?

Todd- Looks like I need to eat crow! Thank you for your post. I am so sorry everybody! Goodness I feel like an idiot. Great investigative work man. You solved that issue straight up son. MOR ps- seriously Todd, don't be a wanker. You can be a proud liberal (many of my friends are), that is fine, but don't be an idiot.

Seamus- A couple of things that DeVry remote may not teach you- 1-If I was concerned about an IP trace I could enable about 5 different programs to replot (Ghost Surf, Microsoft Tools, etc. You should check out Kim Kommando's show- she has a bunch- but personally, I think signing up dummy email accounts, grabbing new IP's, and re-regging is lame). So I'm guessing that either- a- you guys are so lame you can't even respond to a post without typing out a lie or- b- see "a". Either way, it's funny that you can't even respond to substance - just …

Todd- Well stated. That made a lot of sense. You have an amazing intellect. I bow before you. To anybody else that isn't retarded- My basic prop is that libs are pathetically behind the curve in raising cash, developing alternative media (specifically, radio- Gore's new cable channel sucks so much donkey....never mind, watch it yourself) it has to be a new priority. These web pages are fun but let's admit, they are useless. If you want to compete you need to develop a real grass-roots organization. And by the way, this can be as simple as "Bob is going to drive …

Fairplay- I'm an admitted total prententious ass. I love the word ass. It's so prententious, just like me. Ass, ass, ass, that is so much fun! Maybe you should try to get some? Just a thought! And yes, I am "accusing" the "editor" of attributing the 3rd post to me. Sunshine is the best disenfectant. I'm the writer of the first and second - the third is one of your lame-ass liberal reamers. And it's only a sentence long. I do want ITT to stay in business, I think they cover topics nobody else does, but this is embarrassing. They can't …

If the editors are wondering why this magazine is stumbling so badly I would suggest you reflect on the bizzare last sentence of the article. It is the most perfectly asinine closing statement I think I have ever heard by a "professional" writer. I read your magazine b/c I have been occasionally influenced by it on some topics. But truly, this is beyond absurd. I would normally like to have a good debate on the points of an article. But to do that for an article like this would be like arguing with a child (more like a mini-Chomsky wannabe really, …

I should have reread my previous post. This does seem to make some sense now. This is the paper that publishes articles from a pretty Anti-Semitic pen (and a strong supporter of Jew haters like Farrakhan). Anybody who wants to see the destruction of Israel, or just wish to see them feel pain, know that the only truly massive threat to them would be the acquistion of nuclear weaponry by fanatical Muslim states (be them Persian/Arab/Sunni or Arab). With the recent Iranian election of a radically conservative president over Khatami this is the perfect time for rags like this to promote …

Iranians are Persian. They are completely different from Arabs. Nice point out Volvillian. This article just keeps on giving! I could see how Zizek would completely flub up the very important religious, ethnic, and historical differences between the various people of the Middle East. But again, a statement like this makes it through the editorial process of this paper?! Do you guys post online before going to the press? I really hope you do! With Ivins putting out the most embarrassing recant in recent memory I hope the Progressive press can find a new process to vet material to limit embarrassing …

How on earth can you invoke MAD with a nation like Israel? They are too small, they don't have submarine based missiles, they don't have something like SAC 24 hour coverage, they just don't have the retaliatory capability that the US and USSR did during the Cold War. MAD doesn't work here. 4-8 nukes would destroy the entire nation (so even if they were able to lob a few at Iran post launch it wouldn't do a whole lot of good). You didn't even mention Osirak and what the Israelis would have to inevitably do if Iran begins production of UR235 …

American Center for Voting Rights www.ac4vr.com Their new report on the latest Presidential election http://www.ac4vr.com/reports/072005/default.html There are links to specific reports of voter intmidation and suppression against both Democrats and Republicans. Pretty interesting.
