All other choices here (including the ones listed) are trickle-down possibilities from the original lie from January 2001. I sure wish we could hit the FF button and get this clown out of the way!

Organized religion is responsible for most of the man-made woes of this species. I can't support any mindset that feels ANY religion is superior, and therefore the one to be forced upon the populace. Americans sometimes don't see this, but that is what is going on here, to a very large degree. How do the people advocating more religion in the public realm define 'freedom'? That's what we're all about, right....freedom?

All I can say is "blessed are the self-righteous". Religion will be the cause of man's ultimate demise. What a sad species we are sometimes.

The self-righteous will always seek to impose their views on everyone else. Can you blame them? If they are self-righteous, they must be correct, right? How can any decent person have a differing opinion? If there is a position that is oppositional, then it must be of a contradictional nature, and therefore, dismissive. There is no room for alternative positions. Inflexibility is the key to progressive thought, right? Do as we say, or else you should be killed. People have to be told how to live their lives, or else, jeez, they might like living or something. And we can't have …

The U. S. should have a better reputation than what the world sees today. We need to be seen in a positive vein, not a negative one as is overwhelmingly obvious heute. Can intelligent people gain control of our government again?

It seems to me, that it is inevitable that some idiotic rogue state is going to figure out a way to wreck havoc on neighboring states. Chemical, biological, nuclear, the method is not as important as the fact that some group of so-called human beings are going to consider this a "GOOD" thing. So Ahmadinejad wants Isreal "wiped off the map". His grab at a "nuke" might do it. WOW, he really cares about the Palestinians, doesn't he? He is not a direct threat to America, but we need to train our sites on Iran. WE SHOULD NOT ATTACK PRE-EMPTIVELY OR …

I absolutely love reading about outfits like Free Republic. In John Ireland's article, Free Republic is called 'an online water cooler' for 'Patriots' who are 'biased toward God, Country, family, liberty, & freedom'. Of course they are against gay led families participating in the Easter egg hunt at the White House. So my question is this: Do these people know what the words 'liberty' & 'freedom' mean? I know, I know, it's selected freedom, selected liberty. I suppose they are in favor of re-writing the dictionary. Webster's defines liberty as "freedom from control, interference, obligation, restriction, hampering conditions, etc." And freedom? …

Religion, practiced by the self-righteous, will be the ruination of humankind.
