    While I welcome Goldberg's drawing attention to the creeping tyranny of Christian nationalism, and share her concerns, I wonder if she is not being a bit alarmist. There are several points to ponder regarding the relative strength of the Christian nationalist movement, all of which would temper Goldberg's argument that we are one disaster away from a Christian fascist theocracy. First of all, Christian nationalists are not a large group, although Christian evangelicals are growing. The two should not be confused, although there is some overlap.
