    Yes, articles like this just reveal the intellectual weakness of much of the "Left" today. This is what passes for analysis of our power structure and political system? If Nader hadn't run, then Our Hero Al Gore would have been president and everything would have been okay. Is that it? Anyone but Bush, especially if it's a conservative Democrat who won an Oscar for narrating a crowd-pleasing documentary?     Washington, like every other critic who has written this same article (there have been many), writes, "Cosby’s critics excoriated him for delivering his rant from an elitist ivory tower without offering solutions. They argue that the black poor are the helpless victims of white supremacy and institutional racism. In other words, it’s not their fault—the deck is stacked just too high." How about a quote?
