In These Times

I do not consider myself to be an environmentalist and too have concerns about Canadian crude. However I was dismayed at the technical inaccuracies and inconsistencies included - which makes me doubt all of the information that was provided. For example - "...resulted in a significant increase in sulfur dioxide, particulate matter and carbon monoxide emissions. All are ozone-depleting chemicals..." No, they are not. Read the EPA website or ask your high school chemistry teacher. I have had occaision to read documents written by Ann Alexander and have found her to be thoughtful in her presentation and most imporantly accurate. I …
