Born and raised in San Antonio,TX Participated in my first action at the age of 13 when a group of 40+ walked out of a bus depot that refused to serve an African American man and his son.
Active in the labor, civil rights and peace movements.
Trade union activist, first Chicano to be elected to Executive Board of TWU Local 260 in Houston. Fired for whistle blowing and denied REAL due process by bosses and their collaborators from the Int. Union!
Currently working in a non-union nursing facility as a social worker. Active in the struggle for single payer healthcare as well as local labor struggles.
