    I am writing from Tokyo, Japan. Since the start of the war against Iraq, I’ve felt similarities between present Iraq and mine, Japan of before and during the WWII. One similarity is that we both had despotic and savage rulers and the both peoples in general supported them as any people would do when living under authoritarian rule.     Maria, Thank you for your comment. I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. First, I am totally opposed to the planned revision of the Constitution of Japan, because the proposed change is designed to enable Japan to legally wage war with the United States, which is now in the process of updating its nuclear strike plan.
