Here's the real, universal atrocity: A nineteen year-old kid, walking around in a foreign land, sleep deprived and making an hourly adjusted minimum wage, having officially sanctioned power of life and death over complete strangers. A man killed through atrocious means is just as dead as one killed in his sleep. That's war, and when you check, you find pretty much all were started over rich men's squabbles. No news at My Lai, nor at Abu Ghraib. It's War, and it's still Hell.
