"Is it really necessary, or practical, for the “Democrats” to speak with one voice? Repubicans tend to march in lockstep; Democrats are just kinda walking together, but can gather and exert political force when necessary. The Senate votes yesterday are a good example." I don't think Mr. Sirota was trying to say the Democrats need to speak with one voice. Rather, I think he's trying to say Democrats need to speak as the voice of the people. Y'know, what they were elected to do. He finds it absurd that so many Democrats are willing to be bitches of lobbyists, as do …

“Look at this, is this abortion or murder?” I thought that was a pretty powerful statement. My Grandmother has been saying this since she was a teenager: There's going to be a revolution in China. I, personally, can't wait. I think America should definitely start putting pressure on the Chinese government to start allowing a greater degree of personal freedom. What else is there to say? I realize that this is just an attempt to decrease the population of China, which of course is needed greatly. But there has to be better ways than forced abortions and such.

I must also add: there are people more than willing to fight who were born and raised in Iraq. Although I agree that it will look incredibly shallow, I think the United States needs to put Iraq into Iraq's hands. The can continue to train thier police and their army without actually fighting the war for them. I also feel that if the US were to pull out of Iraq suddenly, then the terrorist cells would begin to break down. Why continue to fight when your foe has left the battlefield?

I am confident that abortion will not even be an issue in the Supreme Court. I mean, if they make abortion illegal, there will be riots in the streets. Personally, I will be protesting right there with them. The Supreme Court won't do anything about Roe v. Wade, because they can't afford to.
