To wolf: apparently, you are not a poker player or you would be familiar with the term "throwing good money after bad." "This is, of course, silly. It was known by all sides that Iraq had WMD..." Well wolf, it looks like our little discussion is over. Obviously we don't live in the same universe. In the universe where I live, the reason Joe Q. Public thought there were WMDs in Iraq is because the Bushkavites lied and manufactured evidense. Had they actually thought there were WMDs there, this might be understandable (although not forgiveable.) However, there is ample proof that they knew there were no WMDs.
