I’ve always loved stories, all kinds of creativity. Loved trying to figure things out by the time I was maybe 8. Curiosity has gotten me to do lots of exploring - especially about people. Like, why do things that sounds good (like the French Revolution) often go all wrong? What does it do to people to get involved in a rights movement? Why do so many people not think? And then there is the feeling side of things, catching moments - which, these past few years, most often gets expressed in spoken word poetry.

There is something incredibly anti-thinking going on in the West - for example, with New Age adherents often believing that we even choose our parents. So, once again, it's all our responsibility. There is nothing we're not responsible for. "Just think positively" is one part of this. So is, "everyone is where they are meant to be" - even those being slaughtered, of course. The astounding thing about all this is that we are supposed to have freedom of thought - but there often seems to be a ban on thinking.
