I was conscious of what I ate, how I fed my kids, where we lived . . . the whole bit. This was in the late 60s/early 70s, when we trusted the government a tiny bit for EPA stuff. Turns out I lived in several superfund waste cleanup sites, ate way more sprayed fruits and veggies than we should have . . .the list goes on.
