I think you are missing the point. You are attempting to engage them when they have control over the thrust of the argument (i.e.: A "market-driven, unregulated internet) when what you should be doing is looking at the abrogration of Free-speech and freedom of the press. If this act is passed, what happens to IndyMedia.org, Al-Jazeerah, In These Times, Common Dreams and other alternative media? If you continue to just focus on the the fee aspect you miss the point: that this will finally eliminate all those organizations which are willing to report things the major corporate media do not cover …
