The problem is that on each side, both democrats and republicans are embroiled in partisan politics and have lost touch with the very people they are elected to represent! I am confident that no matter who wins in Novemeber, the cycle will continue. Republicans wrap themselves in the American Flag and shout the name of God to the hills. This is contrary to the principals of our very foundation. Ou forefathers saw that a government based upon religion would be disasterous (Salem Witch Trials, et catera).
