What the author (as well as several others) miss is that Stewart and Colbert don't just skewer the right, they also keep the left in check too. While it is obvious to see where the hosts' politics lie, they also hold Democrat's feet to the fire. Both programs have taken Joe LIeberman to task of late, and Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi and other dems have also been fodder for ridiciule.
