  the above comments scare me, it is sad when so many completely miss the point, using tragedy to promote thier meaningless agendas. I pity America, the America I believe in doesn't believe in torture. Mr. Begg's book is something that should be read by everyone. It is not a "bashing" book, and written beautifully. It is proven that if a living organism, for whatever reason, no longer needs a part of its body, the process of evolution rids the organism of it ... where does that leave human beings in regards to their mind?

  and might I add, illegal research is done not only in "secret prisons", but within the general population. I know, I am a victim. For two years. The only difference in what I suffer and those in "cages" in cuba, are the physical scares. My cage is invisible, I can roam the streets but I have no privacy, none ... not for 1 second. They can wake me, control my moods, my heartrate,etc. they have even raped me, so much, I have lost count, whatever they want ... all with a "remote control", next year I could be your daughter, your …

  I voted 9-12, but believe that however horrible this might sound, "new legislation" should state that only certain types of jobs should be allowed to pay min. wage, all others should pay more. Jobs that are mainly filled by students, part-time workers ... all industrial jobs, etc should be required to pay a much higher wage, more in tune with their CEO's, a more curved pay scale not one that resembles a newly formed mountain.

  in nov. 2004 I was making approx. $50,000 per year, then some childhood "friend"(?) who had been arboring anger over who knows what turns me into the NSA. Now I have nothing, my home, my land, even my constitutional rights, my right to vote, my right to work, my right of free association, my right to legal counsel ... all my rights have been stripped ... maybe one day you can read my book, if they don't kill me.
