In case anyone has read down through all the bickering, back to Benn Michaels, or rather, diversity vs everything -- maybe I am too forgiving, but I read his essay as mainly an urge to shift the question of inequality back a bit in the direction of economic inequality, not necessarily to discount the matter of race altogether, but maybe I'm putting my own filter over it.
