I'm an ardent Zionist, meaning that I very much want a Jewish state, a safe place for Jews to live. I don't think current US policy leads in that direction, and I'm not even sure that present Israeli policy leads in that direction. Certainly US policy is creating terrorists in Palestine, as it is in Iraq and Afghanistan, and is further reducing any chance for peace between Israel and Palestine.
