You humans have a saying that "All is fair in love and war." My reading of U.S. and international law suggests that this statement is true in neither realm. HOWEVER, it does seem to be true of politics, in one era (ours, for example) Republicans seeming to take the greatest liberties, while in other eras Democrats seem to have more of a taste for political fudge. The particular problem these days seems to be the unmitigated arrogance with which these bozos do their dirty work.
