Hate Crimes need to be dealt with as severely as is within the law. Attitudes such as sticks and stones, baloney show that hate crimes still are not taken seriously enough in this country. If there is a hate crime on the books and the crimes is determined to be a hate crime, the person is going to receive the punishment he/she deserves for the crime committed.
