It may be that the Turkish refusal to permit our 4th Infantry division to enter Iraq through it's eastern border was informed by the apprehension that the day would come when Turkey would wish unimpeded access to Iraqi Kurdistan, ie, access unimpeded by the presence of the entire back-staging area of an invading army, which would have remained in place in Turkey just as the 3rd Infrantry Division's logistical underpinnings remain in Kuwait...

Well, there is a rather sympathetic, geriatric and rapidly disappearing bunch of Armenian Holocaust Survivors and the story goes that they want this (very limited, let us confess) bit of justice before they die. I can't really argue that STFU is not among the responses from which reasonable people might choose.
