I totally support the people of Benton Harbor. While I understand Governor Granholms eagerness for investment in Michigan; giving tax credits to the Whirlpool Corporation is not necessary. Let the potential onwers of the proposed gated community give up space for the Golf Course. I want Jean Klock Park to remain for the people of Benton Harbor and all of Michigan as well as visitors nationwide and internationally. The first parks in the United States were graveyards, commons areas were for livestock. I feel strongly taht public land must remain public land. Too many parks are fee only entry. MDNR is …
