  Scorp, you have some baggage which sets you off on a tangent. The story was about the shallow level of thoughtfulness and discussion which goes into our "elections", not whether LBJ was a bad president, or a socialist. I have never understood why the term "socialist" gets spat out like a wad of snot by people. It's certainly no worse a term than "Republican" and they have cause more death and heartache than any of the Socialists in this country.
