Ashley Crimaldi

Ashley is an undergraduate student at The University of Missouri, located in Columbia, MO. She is perusing two bachelors degrees in Journalism, and Woman’s and Gender Studies.

Ashley has dedicated much of her time on campus towards feminist activism and advocacy, and serves on the board of The Central Missouri Stop Human Trafficking Coalition. This summer, Ashley is interning with In These Times in the publishing department. She hopes to continue working in independent media and non-profit organizations.

    The truth is- no matter how many people decide to go to rehab, some will still relapse. I'm happy that this woman was able to help her son, and I hope more programs like this will assist families of addiction patients receive access to this drug.
