America Sells Out: An Evening with Daniel Brook

Join In These Times for a free evening of discussion with historian and political journalist, Rick Perlstein, and Daniel Brook, author of The Trap: Selling Out to Stay Afloat in Winner-Take-All America. Perlstein and Brook will discuss an America in which unaffordable education, precarious healthcare coverage, and spiking real estate costs forces those with education, but without inherited wealth, to sell out and abandon their ideals.

The event will take place at In These Times’ offices at 2040 N. Milwaukee Ave. Copies of The Trap will be available for purchase and signing. This event is free, but donations are encouraged.
