Debating Engagement: A Critical Dialogue on Iran & the Peace Movement
Friday, October 16, 7:00 PM
School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Columbus Auditorium, 280 S Columbus Dr, Chicago, IL
Since June’s presidential election, Iran has experienced a massive political upheaval, and just last week the U.S. and Iran engaged in breakthrough discussions on Iran’s nuclear program. Are these two developments related?
On Friday, October 16, at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, In These Times will co-sponsor a public exploration of this pivotal moment in Iran’s history and the critical issues involved in their peace movement. The selected panel for Debating Engagement: A Critical Dialogue Among Progressives on Iran & the Peace Movement features the National Coordinator of Just Foreign Policy Robert Naiman and DePaul University Professor of International Studies Kaveh Ehsani.
The event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit No War On Iran Coalition-Chicago’s website.
