I’m not sure that I understand the problem w/ Alito.  He seems to be fairly liberal, at least on the abortion issue. 

Are there other stances that he’s taken that I’m unaware of and are considered dangerous?

I voted to filibuster.

I think he is smarter than Scalia though and otherwise nothing like him, so the Scalito rhetoric really gets on my nerves.

Alito is a liar, dedicated to destroying Roe vs. Wade.  And now we know that he’s subservient, licking the boots of Dr. Dobson, the “Beat your kid, it’s good for him” psychologist.  The so-called ‘Christian.’
My God, as a kid in sunday school, did you ever think the biggest haters in the world would call themselves ‘Christians’?

Does anyone know how one goes about emigrating?

I have looked into putting myself into exile, myself.  When I read that Pierre Salinger had died in France, exiling himself in 2000 after the 1st theft of the presidency, I explored further.  Georgeville in Quebec is an English speaking town just 3 hrs from my home in Ma.
Great folks there.  If I were bi-lingual I’d head for Montreal.
If you start a small company that hires at least 5 people and buy land, you’re put at the head of the line for Canadian citizenship.  I do NOT know if we can hold dual citizenship,as you could if you were an Indian here.
