f) Neither Democrat is worth electing because neither is worthy of being called a Democrat.

It’s been so long since we’ve seen either a “real” Democrat or a “real” Republican that we are beginning to accept anyone’s claim to any party.

I want to see someone who willl represent the US first, last and always.

Having just watched the rerun of Harry Truman’s life on The American Experience, I’d like someone who really does NOT want the job.

When he believed it in the nation’s best interest Truman even went against the unions. (For you kids out there: Democrats used to support labor and visa versa.) He did this knowing full well the political implications and Democrats lost the mid term election, BIG time.

I recently read IKE, An American Hero and, once again, (this time as a Republican) we had someone who did not covet the office, but served out of a sense of duty. He warned against the potential power of the “Military Industrial Complex.” (Republicans and business were as tight as Democrats and labor.)

Both men made unpopular, world changing decisions without relying on polls or the direction of the politcal wind.

My vote must be against the worse candidate once again. (Not an easy choice lately.)

g) Because electing a democrat will give Americans (or at least a majority of them {if the voting isn’t fraudulent}) a superficial sense of satisfaction in having changed something.

When it will likely be; meet the new boss ... same as the old boss.
