Jimmy was a teacher and a lover of life. He started up progressive magazines and stimulated infinite amounts of thought and discussion. His books and articles and his pithy remarks contributed to my education and to the edification of so many others. We have lost an important intellect and worthy soul.
Saul Landau, an internationally-known scholar, author, commentator and filmmaker, is the Director of Digital Media Programs at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
