So, I’m supposed to sympathize with business owners who superexploit undocumented workers?
Why?
As for Bernie Sanders, I’m disgusted that a so called “socialist” congressman would support a cheap labor program for sweatshop bosses in his state.
Look, I’m sure there are lots of unemployed people in rural Vermont - perhaps if these dairy farmers paid the federal minimum wage, OT after 8 hours and a basic benefits package, they’d have more job applicants than they could handle.
And if they claim they ‘can’t afford’ to meet basic American labor standards - then I hope ICE fines them millions of dollars and drives them into Chapter 7 Bankruptcy!
I have no sympathy for sweatshop bosses - even the “family farm” sweatshop owners!
